Hinduism is so well interlinked with casteism that it appears to be body and soul relationship.As it is it is practiced by people like a religion and on top of it we have astrology. It has lines like born in low/ high caste, association with low caste people, which just makes it difficult to break this trend. I would like to thank god that Britishers were sent to rule India and we realized all the atrocities which were committed under the name of god by the so called "real sons of god". I wonder if even after education we will be ever be free and use our pure, sincere heart and soul to judge people rather than their caste and by the work they do. How is a carpenter work low as compared to a CEO of a company? Is the carpenter not working hard, shedding sweat and blood to earn for his family? How are we justified to treat them a useless, unwanted people in our own country. We are Indians only on republic day, Independence day, Match day, Olympic Era and rest of the days we are this caste, that city, that town, that state, that profession etc.. Are we obsessed with dividing us at every chance we get? North Indian with South Indian, East Indian with West Indian. Today when education is so better reachable can we not think how to minise these differentiation and fight with all the vices that were given birth long time ago. Do we not have courage like Bhagat Singh, Sukh Dev, Bismil, Jyotiba Phule, Savitri Bai... ? I wonder if I will keep fighting this alone all my life and wonder when dignity and respect will my birth right from birth to death.
